Phoebe Whitfield
Agenda Screening Services Ltd
Being shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year is an incredible honour and something I’m truly proud of.
My apprenticeship journey has been full of learning, support, and growth, and this recognition means so much to me. I’ve been lucky to work alongside some amazing people who’ve helped me grow not only professionally but personally, too.
I’m really excited for the awards night—it's such a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of so many individuals in our business community. Thank you for recognising my journey so far!
Jordan Casey
KWL
Jordan began his Level 2 Joinery Apprenticeship in 2023 and is on track to progress to Level 3 later this year. He is making excellent progress both at college and in the workplace. Jordan has quickly become a valued member of the team, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and is always willing and happy to go above and beyond to help others.
He has been involved in a variety of projects with a particular focus on new builds, where he has gained hands-on experience in first and second fix joinery. His practical skills are developing well, and he approaches each task with care and attention to detail. Jordan works effectively alongside all members of staff, building strong working relationships and showing professionalism at all times. Jordan has kept his feet firmly on the ground and has overcome some hurdles along the way, he is a credit to his family and is fast becoming a valued member of staff to KWL.
Grace Weichardt
Rubicon Bridge
Since joining the team as a Customer Relations Assistant at Rubicon Bridge, I’ve worked very hard to try and improve and make meaningful changes big or small. I’ve thrown myself into different tasks supporting other staff the best that I can.
I’ve always been open with the fact that my time at Rubicon hasn’t always been easy and that it has challenged me in so many ways, but I am so grateful for the lessons learned from them and it’s those that will stay with me.
I’ve not only felt this growth within my current role but have developed and learned so much in my other positions by learning practical skills and volunteering in a local shop, something that I would never think I would feel any sense of gratitude volunteering in the way that I do, feeling more mindful about people and their situations and volunteering alongside amazing people.
